Sean is a composer, sound artist, performer, poet and researcher. He is currently completing his PhD studies at Western Sydney University, Australia, where he has sought to understand and redefine texture. He delves into the world of known and unknown sounds and considers silence or the quiet moments of life to be the most transcending experiences anyone can have. His music background includes classical guitar performance, skills on the piano, singing and a bit of acting on the side. He composes works that communicates emotions that cannot necessarily be communicated in words and is based on improvisational techniques, noise and other worlds that is not always tangible or visual to the five senses. Sean has a passion for experimental, electronic and off the wall sounds that is not for the faint of heart. He most recently started composing for film and is currently working towards incorporating his soundscapes with moving images and photography.
